Grand Incentives Expands Marketing Department

Travel Incentives Company Adds Social Media Manager to Bolster Online Efforts

In the modern business model, social media is a critical part of both reaching a mass audience and providing a personal touch in two-way communication. To address this ever-evolving outlet and build a strategy for connecting with existing customers, potential clients and people with a passion for travel, Grand Incentives (GI) – a leading provider of travel and rebate incentives for business – has devoted full-time resources and welcomes Stacy Sternberg into the fold as the company’s new Social Media Manager.

Sternberg, a Miami native and graduate of both the Cranbrook Academy of Art and Ringling College of Art and Design, will play a crucial role in broadening both the scope and reach of GI’s social media program. She brings her years of experience as a social media consultant – and a love of travel – to bear as part of the company’s concerted effort to find both new and more efficient ways of spreading the word about GI and its sister businesses.

We cannot underestimate the value of social media in building and sustaining a brand. In order to stay relevant, it is essential that our marketing efforts effectively utilize all potential avenues for reaching customers and informing people about our company and the travel services we offer.

Rachael Varga, Program Development Manager

“We cannot underestimate the value of social media in building and sustaining a brand,” says Rachael Varga, program development manager. “In order to stay relevant, it is essential that our marketing efforts effectively utilize all potential avenues for reaching customers and informing people about our company and the travel services we offer. Based on her experience and her familiarity with Grand Incentives, Stacy was the logical choice to fill this new role.”

Sternberg will be ramping up the overall focus on social media, developing richer content, engaging more with GI’s audience and fostering the company’s online reputation. This will largely include soliciting feedback from travelers – encouraging them to detail their experiences in both words and pictures – rather than simply pushing out posts. To that end, Sternberg will engage Grand Incentives’ management team to determine how best to attract user response, and develop an interactive program that promotes continuous and productive communication.

Further, Sternberg has been tasked with revitalizing GI’s existing social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube and more – providing multiple options for people to receive robust content and communicate with Grand Incentives, for a more comprehensive and satisfying user experience.
